The Bear and the Two Friends
One sunny morning, two best friends, Rohan and Arjun, decided to go on an adventure in the forest. Before entering the woods, Rohan said, "No matter what happens, we’ll always stick together!" Arjun agreed, and they walked in happily, laughing and collecting berries.
Suddenly, they heard a loud growl. A big, angry bear was charging toward them. Arjun, in panic, climbed up a tree without thinking. Rohan, who couldn’t climb, froze in fear. Remembering a story his grandmother once told him, he lay down on the ground and held his breath, pretending to be dead. The bear sniffed Rohan, nudged him, and then walked away; bears don’t attack dead creatures.
When the bear was gone, Arjun climbed down and asked, "What did the bear whisper in your ear?" Rohan sat up and replied, "It told me never to trust a friend who leaves you in danger." Arjun’s face turned red with shame. He realized his mistake and apologized. Rohan forgave him but said, "True friends don’t run away when trouble comes." From that day on, Arjun promised to be a better friend, and their bond grew stronger.
Moral of the Story: A true friend stands by you in difficult times, not just in happy moments.
