The Thirsty Crow
On a summer afternoon, when the sun flew fiercely in the sky, a tired crow climbed a quiet village. Their wings flew over long distances, and their throats were burned by thirst. He had discovered everywhere—rivers had dried out, streams had turned into dust, and even normal puddles. The way his sharp eyes began to crawl in despair showed a glimpse near a small cabin.
With fresh energy, the crow was thrown down and landed near a high soil cry. His heart increased with enthusiasm! But when he suffered from the inside, his hope was confronted. The pot had only a small amount of water, which was far from the reach of the beak. He spread his neck as far as he could, fluttered the wings for balance, and even tried to bend the pot, but it was too heavy. Disappointed, but not defeated, the crow sat back and thought hard. "It should be a way," he muttered to himself.
As soon as he scanned the country, he saw that small pebbles were scattered around. A spark of inspiration burned her thoughts. Without hesitation, he picked up a pebble with his beak and placed it in a pot. Eyelid! The water got just a small one. Encouraged, he picked up another pebble and dropped it. The water increased slightly.
One after the other placed it—after pebbles, release after drop. The sun struck, and his body got tired, but he refused to give up. His determination was stronger than his exhaustion.
After what felt like forever, the crow was again inside the pot—the water had become quite high! With a happy flagging, he immersed his beak in cold water and drank until his thirst was extinguished. His endurance and smart thinking paid off.
